Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the Highlands Community Charter School Facilities & Maintenance Portal (the “Portal”). By using the Portal, you agree to use it only for legitimate school facilities, maintenance, safety, operational, and related administrative purposes.
1. Authorized use
Use the Portal only for school-related maintenance requests, work coordination, facilities records, and approved administrative activities. Do not use the Portal to disrupt systems, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful, abusive, or intentionally false content.
2. Accounts and credentials
Authorized users are responsible for protecting their sign-in credentials and for activity performed through their account or assigned administrator access. Do not share credentials except where the school has specifically approved a shared administrative access method. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly to school administration.
3. Requests, photos, and other content
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information you submit. Only upload photos or details reasonably necessary to document a facilities issue. Avoid including student records, medical information, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and authorized for the school purpose involved.
4. Operational records
Requests, comments, status changes, assignments, uploaded images, and audit information may become school operational records and may be retained, reviewed, disclosed, or deleted according to applicable law and Highlands Community Charter School policies and records-retention practices.
5. Availability and changes
The Portal is provided to support school operations. Features may be changed, suspended, or unavailable for maintenance, security, vendor outages, or operational reasons. The school may update these Terms as the Portal evolves.
6. Security
Users must not probe, scan, attack, reverse engineer access controls, introduce malicious code, or attempt to access information beyond their authorization. The school may log and investigate suspected misuse and may restrict access when necessary to protect systems, data, or users.
7. No emergency substitute
The Portal is not a substitute for emergency procedures. For an immediate threat to life, safety, or property, follow the school’s emergency procedures and contact the appropriate emergency or facilities personnel directly.
8. Contact
Questions about these Terms or access to the Portal should be directed to Highlands Community Charter School administration or the Facilities & Maintenance team.
